How do I get BALL POINT ink stain removed my shirt pockets.?Please.?
Answers:
Saturate the stain with old fashioned Hairspray on both sides of the material before washing in Clorox 2 or another all fabric bleach. (Wash separately.) It's the acetone in the hairspray that does it.
I learned this one in nursing school, when a pen broke in my pocket. It really works!

A little OxyClean mixed with water into a paste and put on the ink stain should do the trick. Worked wonders getting red wine out of my parent's sofa.

If it hasnt been dry for too long , spray it well with hairspray, let sit a while , spray again and then wash
tray soda crystals rubed into it and then a hot wash it worked for me
If it hasn't been washed and dried use gojoe hand cleaner. It will take it out only if it hasn't been washed and dried or is not to old of a stain
Believe it or not iI just have taken a dry shirt and put butter or margarine or olive oil on it and let it remain for several hours - that placed the ink back into suspension so it can be removed with cold soap concentrate - try not using water at first and just rub in te soap. Blue iink is easier than black . good luck
Harsh cleners just cause fiber damage to an otherwise expensive good looking shirt
If you go to walmart and buy the dry cleaning kit. Use the fluid in the kit, use the blotter, and then you can wash the shirt. I have saved many a work shirt using this stuff
Go to a dry cleaner and ask. Even if you don't leave it to be cleaned they know all the stain removers that actually Work (and a surprising number of over-the-counter stain removers Don't, esp. the dry spray-ons) and can tell you which product is best.
