Yeah, hot water, or you can use the plastic end of a bic lighter. It'll scrape wax off of hard surfaces without scratching.

Home remedy, very hot water to melt it off. You can also buy a product called Goo Gone, which will also remove the wax.
put it in the microwave for a few seconds then wipe clean
put it in the freezer
Microwave it immersed in a container of water, then wipe it off.
half fill the bowl with water, put it in the microwave for 15 sec or until it gets hot but won't crack the glass. (this may be risky) the wax will soften and you can wipe it off.
like rain4daz32 said put it in the freezer and the wax will come off with your finger nails the hot water thing is good too or a hair dryer.
Put the container in the freezer, then after a couple of hours you can turn the container over in your hand and gently hit it against the other hand, the wax will fall right out
put it in the freezer. once it is frozen take it out of freezer, turn upside down and tap on the glass, it should fall right out. good luck.
Scrap as much off as you can and run it through the dishwasher.
