how do you get red mud stains out of a carpet?

My yard is red mud from being built and now my carpet is so red I need help bad to figure out how to get it out my kids even take there shoes off but still gets on the rug and our socks are even red HELP ME

I know what you mean but I have red clay dirt where we live and it's a b i t c h and I use Resolve but don't buy one can you may have to do it a couple times. Buy two at least it works really great even gets the wine out that my wine o sister had to spill all over my new baby pink carpet but it came out too...
