A dish soap that really works?

It seems like no matter what dish soap I buy for handwashing dishes, the bubbles dissipate so fast and the water doesn't seem very soapy anymore. Anyone have a dish soap that they like that really works well? And stays "soapy?"

Answers:
Dawn works! Though it may not stay "soapy," it is definately still working. The presence of bubbles does not judge whether the soap is working or not...the grease cutting properties of soap will still be working long after the bubbles fade.

well i use joy with bleach citrus scent .it really works good for me .and i have been threw alot to find the right one.
dawn with bleach alternative
Dawn makes a new one in a blue bottle that works really well. You don't need much water for it, either. Suddenly, I feel feminine. I need to watch football...quickly. Seriously, the stuff works well. Has a white pump cap.
try Dawn with the bleach alternative i swear by this stuff it not only works great but disinfects
i am not sure what type of soap to reccomend, but when you put dishes in the sink, make sure you rinse them off and that you leave water on/in them. this will keep the stuff on the dishes loose so that you just need to sanitize it and not scrub it. good luck!

i just remembered that there is that one soap on tv with the fish in the bowl. you dont have to use much water to wash the dishes. maybe try that. i think it works.
Thye reason why the bubbles disapate and it feels like the water is not soapy anymore is because the water is dirty. You have to change the water and put fresh soap in it. I like Dawn myself but you have to change the water.
joy
Dawn is the best dish soap there is. If you like lots of bubbles try the new foamy Dawn. Good luck!
Dawn and Joy, also try putting about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of bleach in dish water, this even helps get tomato and other tough stains out of plastic ware
Perhaps you have what is referred to as hard water. Have it tested. Joy is great and seems to last forever.Just ask my wife. (She lets me do the dishes) I spend a long time in washing dishes, pots, pans and all with Joy and the water stays bubbly throughout the process.
Dawn is the best, they actually used it to clean up after the Exxon Valdez oil spill, if that tells you anything.
I always use dawn. They have came out with so many different ones now, but they are all great..With dawn even if the suds are gone your dishes still get clean...
Maybe you are not using enough soap? Especailly if the dishes are very greasy.
dawn dish soap is the only one i use....works better than store brand (cost a few pennies more but worth it)
Dawn. I've also tried the grocery store brand of Dawn and it's as good. Is your water really hard? Are you using hot enough water? Also, are you washing glasses first, then silverware and then dishes and pots/pans last? That's the order you do them in and change the water along the way when needed.
