I have many baseball hats that need washing, however when i have tried putting them in the dishwasher, as some suggested, they kinda came out looking like Hillary Clinton...so anyone know a way to preserve the structural integrity of these little jewels without makeing them look like pasta?

There are stores in my area like The Container Store and maybe even Bed, Bath and Beyond who make wire forms just for this. Snaps over a ball cap, then you can put them in the dishwasher and clean them while they keep their shape.
They're sold "as seen on TV" as well.
