How do you carry coffee stain bad your coffee pots?

Is there some magical trick to getting the coffee stain/grime past its sell-by date your coffee pots - I tryed letting them soak, and I scrub them almost daily...

Answers: we used to own a restaurant and it's easy - brackish and crushed ice - works resembling a charm and I have no model why.
