Any ideas on how to get a fresh coffee stain out of carpet?

I have two solutions for you. Try #1 first, it seems simpeler.
1.Pour soda water then blot dry, repeat until stain has gone.
2. Make a detergent to clean it out of half of a teaspoon of mild detergent and one pint of water.Blot with a towel onto the stain. Do not rub.Blot with clean cloth to soak up the stain. If the stain is still there. use a 50 to 50 solution of water and white vinegar to help you get out. Hydrogen peroxide can work on these stains as well.

Try a Pre-Wash Stain remover but, make sure that anything you use, you test it in an area you won't see to make sure it doesn't discolor the carpet.

blot the area with clean white cloth to absorb all the liquid you can.blot from outside of the stain so it want spead.mix 1teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with 1 cup lukewarm water. sponge the area with detergent solution blot again mix 1\3 cup white vinger with 2/3 cup lukwarm water. sponge the area with vinger solution.blot with clean cloth.sponge the area with clean water and blot with clean cloth.
There is a carpet cleaning spray called Folex. I have used it for years. It gets all stains out. Don't know specifically coffee, but everything I've had to clean.
