My house is constantly dusty, even after I've just dusted & vaccuumed. Any suggestions?

You need to get your air conditioning ducts cleaned and also replace the filters every 3-4 months. Also, make sure that your carpets/rugs are not too old. Use special cleaning agents that repel dust and use furniture polish.

burn your shouse down. keep windows closed, do you have a gravel drive way? that may do it.
My boyfriend's cousin has one of those ionic things...it's not an ionic breeze but it does the same with out the "breeze" It removes dust and dander.
You need a vacuum cleaner that has a HEPA type filter on it.
A HEPA filter is VERY fine and removes the dust particles you can't even see.
Other hints, clean the dust filters on your furnace fan and get rid of carpets if you can, they are terrible dust collectors.
By the way, most 'white dust' is actually particles of your skin, pet dander, and other assorted goodies.
vaccum 1st, then dust, cuz if its de oda way round, the dust settles back to the surfaces of ur furniture etc. try emptying the filters and cleaning outside.
Check the filter on your furnace, guessing you have GFA. It could be full of gunk just vacume it off regularly,and make sure that you have screens on open windows and doors.
I would suggest vacuuming first so all of the excess dust lands on surfaces you will dust. Then with a wet cloth dust the surface areas of shelves, etc. The wet cloth should pick it up rather than kicking it back up into the air. I hope that helps.
Also on surfaces like tv's, etc-you may not want to use a wet cloth. Something like a swiffer product should allow the dust to cling better.
Try wipe the dust with a little amount of cleaner on it so the dust will stick on your wipes. Dont use a duster cause it makes the dust floats in the air by the time you finished, it settles back again. Try also wiping dust from top to bottom.
