It's like a white sponge but really works. Whatever you do, wash your hands after & put it in safe place away from children and pets.
Just damp a tidbit of the sponge & scrub the ink mark in circular motion. Should work.
I used it the other day to remove scuff marks of my shoes.

Go to home depot or lowes and get stuff called goof off and it will take it off with out hurting the leather
A little bit of hairspray will do the trick. Just spray a small amount of hairspray on the ink, and then wipe off with either a rag, or a piece of cotton.
We've got a little trick that we do at work. We use a lot of black indelible markers and get marks all over our tables. We had been using nail polish remover to get rid of the ink, but found that it was wearing away the polyurethane coating. One of our old-timers suggested using lemon extract...and it works! The alcohol and acid break up the ink, and the extract contains enough oil to 'soften' it, making it non-abrasive. I've never tried it on ball-point pen ink, but why don't you try it and let me know if it works.

try hairspray, if that doesn't work make a paste of baking soda and water and try that. Maybe softscrub?

Do not use Goof Off.The smell is toxic,and will not remove the ink.Unfortunately,leather is porous and the ink is there to stay.
Definately try the Eraser first. No chemicals and it wont ruin it. Just dab a little water on the magic eraser and give it a little rub. Hope it works!
