Question in the order of color varying within sink and toilet.?

Earlier, when I got home I run the sink and flush the toilet, but the kept returning yellowish in color. Does anyone know what this is?


Answers:    If you live where on earth you have city river, perhaps they flushed the lines and your neighbors would own the same item. Call one of them. If that happened, only just run it off and it will clear up. I would not purify the dishes with it but you could go in swimming but I would not do my hair. If it is resourcefully water, something may enjoy happened to one of your pipes and you hold to trace it. But I would not drink it until it clears up. Run some, take a chalice full and watch it settle. About partially hour later, do it again until it clears. If call for be, boil the water 10 minutes past drinking.
Could be iron oxide from rusting pipes. Won't hurt you. I see it mostly when I turn the water rear legs on after a vacation.
