How do I get the little fabric naps off of pillowcases?

they make a shaver for fabric pills thats probably at walmart in the craft area or a good fabric or craft store ask the tailor in your town if no luck also on line as a pill shaver
Orlando57 has your answer. It's a little shaver and it works a treat. The reason you got those little balls is because the thread count of your pillowcases is too low. The higher the thread count, the better quality the sheets and pillowcases. I recommend you never buy less than 200 thread count for these things. 200 will guarantee you no little balls all over your linens. The thread count refers to the number of threads you can count in one square inch of the fabric. You will buy several cheaper sets of bedding at a cost of $200.00 or one set of 200 thread count that will last you 20 years for about $70.00. Good luck.
