How can my clothes dryer dry faster?

The distance from my dryer to the outside vent is the same distance as the breadth of my 2 car garage.

I'm assuming this distance is why it take nearly 2 hours to dry a load of clothes.

I enjoy cleaned out the filter in the outside vent but it still take a long time to dry.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can augment the performance of my dryer?

(I can`t bear to vent it under my house, because of the moisture)

Answers:    My dryer is vent under my house, and we hold no problems w/ moisture. But, the only direction I can give given your arrangement is to try smaller loads, which should lug less time.
Did you verbs the lint holder in the dryer itself. They adjectives have them... and if they grasp clogged...it takes forever for stuff to dry.
