any advice on handvacs? in terms of ridding that trashy smell when vacumming stairs?

i have emptied my dirt devil yet it still reeks of something nasty when i turn it on and use it to clean my stairs...i have placed some arm and hammer inside as well but no real relief...as well as some fragrance oils...any suggestions?

Place a dryer sheet inside...i do that with my regular vac and it freshens the whole room.

i've heard about this! you need 2 cloves of garlic, some wolf bane, and a spider venom sac. Place them in a vile after mixing them with a mortar. put 3 drops of vanilla in the vile and take the vile and pour half of this into the bag the first time you use it, then the other half the second time. this should solve your problem
Definitely try dryer sheets. Put one right into the bag or canister. It works!
