Why won't my dryer dry?
Answers: Are you sure the control didn't get moved to something resembling air or tumble....i.e. no fry?
The heating constituent has gone over...bring a new one.
It sounds as if the thermostat is burned out; surrounded by which case, you hold a decision to brand name.
Find out what a repair will cost and find out the cost of a new dryer.
If you agree to your lint build up that long, chances are you've burned out the heat element or the thermostat.
i deliberate there similar to a coil thing inside it that can be replaced or somthing resembling dat its probably bad

The ending time I bought one was oodles years ago, and it cost me $25.00. Look on the dryer and get adjectives the info off of it and appointment around to find the cheapest one or the cheapest repair man. If you are handy and can fix it yourself it isn't that expensive thank goodness. Good luck.
PS: If it is a gas dryer after there are so masses things it could be the electronic ignition could be bad or it isn't getting gas kinked row ect..
Please, Please, Please don't ever let your hose collect that much lint again. They are responsible for so copious house fires.

if the vent was clogged you most plausible have blown the giant limit sanctuary thermostat .it is non resetable needs to be replaced you should hail as a serviceman for this one :) best to use hard pipe vent not that foil or plastic accordian sttyle vent and verbs out the houseing at the dryer vent in final of the unit next to a vacuum every 6 months
