We use PVC when BBQing and cotton within the house cooking.
I rarely use aprons....I don't do a total lot of baking.
Around the holidays when I do bake, I use one of my husband's out-of-date sweatshirts as an apron. The cotton aprons aren't as absorbent as his dated fleece sweats!
well, I own two aprons that were both given to me. They are both cotton - I don't approaching the pvc ones cos i feel resembling i'm wearing a straight jacket. However, normally I don't bother wearing one at adjectives but I do have housey clothes that I swing into when cooking cos a tend to make a material mess. It's either that or ruining my 'normal' clothes.
I hold a cotton one...It has Paula Deen on it aphorism "elbow lickin good" I love it! I think it is from the foodtv website....It be a present.
I pretty much only use it when I am cooking pasta sauce or bacon.

My full apron have Noah's ark on it.
My other two are yellow and red and merely go around the waist. I suppose the red one can be converted to a bonnet.

Black PVC apron, Harrods' Red PVC Xmas apron and a Pick / Yellow PVC apron (which my wife uses all the time).
