should i go for a house in Bombay or in Banglore or may be in Chennai,Kolkata,Delhi or some where else?help me

well that totally depends on your requirement and your position.
all these cities are good and Delhi and Bombay are far ahead in terms of development and oppurtunities.
but my personal preference is delhi.Please look for sites regarding the house rent or cost.

Looking for a great climate go for bangalore r pune( u missed that out it's one of the great place to settle down). Bombay, Delhi developemnt yes.... but settling down no no no.. i'll defenetly not prefer to get settled there.. chennai except for the heat it's perfect u don't have a night life if u dont need that than all u need here is an air conditioner.. kokatta crowded......

Where are you moving from? I have done several international moves from the US..one time from California to Singapore with a family of six. I cannot stress enough the importance of visiting a place before you move there. The extra cost will more than be made up for by ending up in a place you like. The emotional trauma of living in a place you hate is high, and eventually you will have to move again.
Delhi and Poona are more modern than Channai or Kolkata I believe, though I have only been to Poona. Bangalore is also nice, more tropical and green than the others. But all of India is going through major changes and becoming more prosperous. It will be wonderful when this prosperity impacts the general population.
My last word...VISIT, VISIT, VISIT!!
