How do I get a security tag out without tearing garment?

I bought a bra at a bargain outlet and got home and found a plastic security tag still on it. How do I separate the two parts without tearing up the bra?

um... take it back to the store with the reciept and tell them it didnt get taken off, they will remove the tag for you... removing it yourself is illegal.
good luck on that one.
shoplifting much? anyway get the pliers and work it. it's going to take some strength and effort but it will eventually come off.
or you could go back to the store with your "receipt" and ask them to remove it.
return to store, they will remove it. or stop shop lifting
Take the bra back to store with reciept and they will fix it!
Take it back to the store with the receipt.
That happened to me once when I worked at Express. I bought a jacket for my bf and I wanted to give it to him that night, so I *tried* to take off the sensor myself, alas, I ended up poking a hole in the jacket liner. So I exchanged it.
Soo... Don't attempt it cos it'll just make it look worse, like you stole it er something. Unless you did. Which isn't good. :(
I so hope that you didn't shoplift the item! Anyway, try using a really strong magnet on one side. Most of those things require one to release the pin from the retention side.
IF ITS ONE OF THOSE TAGS THAT BLOW DYE ALL OVER THE BRA------WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS FREEZE THE BRA FOR 3 DAYS------WHEN IT IS FROZEN-----BUST THE TAG WHEN IT IS FROZEN-----THE DYE WON'T FLY ALL OVER THE PLACE BECAUSE THE DYE FROZEN SOLID TOO

I bought a bra from Victorias Secret and I got home to find the security tag on. It took me about 45 mins to get that sucker off. I used a pair of scissors and pryed between the two pieces. They came apart eventually but I was so worried because I had bought that bra for a certain cami.
I'd take it to any store that has the machine to get it off. Take your receipt with you. You can't get it off yourself with out damage to the garment. This happen to me once when I bought jeans at a going out of business sale. Their security had been turned off.
