How do you take a urine smell out of your couch and rug?

My daughters friend stayed over a couple days ago, and bless her heart, she had an accident while sleeping on my couch. Now my couch and rug, where on earth it leaked also, smell of urine, BAD. I washed the couch covers surrounded by the washer and scrubed the couch and the rug down, but I can still smell the urine. I was wondering, is there something I could buy, approaching a spray (tried frebreeze, don't work) or cleaner that can help take out the smell?

Answers:    What you will call for to do is at either Walmart or Lowes, buy an Enzyme cleaner. It's usually in near carpet cleaning solutions. The urine smell on your couch is in the cushions. The spongy member. Spray the cushions with the enzyme, let it sit, later rinse really well. Rewash your couch covers also. Urine is a protein that feeds past its sell-by date the moisture in the air. The one and only way to kill the protein inwardly the urine is with an enzyme. As far as your carpet (if on floor beside pad), spray the enzyme on the specific area, put plastic over it so no air can carry to it for 24 hours. Once you've done that, use a steam cleaner (like rug doctor) and clean the carpet. If it's not a huge nouns, you may can spray the enzyme then use a sponge with dampen to soak the area, then blot (do not rub) near a towel until damp, then set a devotee to blow on the wet area until dry.
There are a little cleaners on the market but they are geared toward pet urine. I think if the product can verbs and deodorize the proteins in pet urine it should handle human urine brilliantly. Give it a try! They are often available in spot cleaners too. You can procure them at any Walmart or other department store. http://www.urineremover.net/?gclid=CLL4u...
