How do you pack your scrap?
Answers: I buy giant end bags and double pod everything. First I wash as much food smell off of it as I can and next spray 409 on it. Why? Well, if I was a trash pick up person, I would appreciate it. I also hold bears who know how to open the can. So after I put it in the cans outside within the yard, I chain the lid down. It is picked up once a week. I also keep the paper refuse in a different can than the food garbage. Bears don't shift for the paper trash. Up on the mountain in the boonies they do not know nearly recycling yet.
I reuse supermarket plastic plenty in kitchen bin, when emptying I double backpack it and it goes in our wheelie bin and is empty every two weeks. On the other week our recycling is collected. use both grocery bags.. and trash heaps..
our apt complex only recycles weekly and cardboard... everything else is thrown out. we do one dumpster of each a week.. taken on friday mornings.. at 9:00
I use scented heaps or whatever is on special, I throw it into the garbage bins outside when the bin inside is full and they seize emptied every Tuesday by the garbage man. :) IF IT'S A BIG JOB I USE 50 GALLON CONSTRUCTION BAGS OR I JUST USE HEFTY BAGS.
