How do I attach rope to a wall for decorate......(cowboy theme)?

Answers:    We used heavy rope for inside trim surrounded by a log house where log walls met interior Sheetrock walls. An nouns finish nailer worked fine for us to hold the rope in place. If you don't own access to a nail gun you can use regular finish nail. A combination of hot glue and finish nail might not work to bad any but all we used be the finish nails in the order of every 4 - 6 inches right through the center of the rope. The finish nails sink into the rope a bit so they are not apparent.
If your are using it as a crown molding affect or border, you can hot glue it. Otherwise I don't know how you longing to use it so can't really give you more.
