first, get rid of all the clutter, stuff you dont use anymore, and either donate it to Goodwill, or throw it away or ack your folks to box it up and put it in storage for you. that is the first step in makeing a bedroomk pretty and peacefull. also, get a live plant, something simple. and put it in a pretty little pot, (they have plants and cute, inexpensive pots at Long's ) that will totally change the look of your room. think of what 3-4 colors you like that go together, and start from there. that will make things a lot easier whaen decorating. good luck!

ok well first you could add some more colors by getting colorful paintings or pictures and then get the cute little color baskets that hold anything from cloths to just little things or just for decoration then you could get some colorful pillows and also those lights that they have at parties the ones in the ball that hang from your sealing and some colorful chairs or somehing and also like the dangly things that you can hang over you window or door or both! yay! good luck!

What do you have to work with? Use flowers from outside in a vase. Get a picture frame and frame a pretty fabric in it for a cool art piece. Take 3 sheets and drape them on each side of your bed to make a large canopy then tie them. Take a pretty sheet and put it up behind your bed for a cute headboard. Theres like a million things lol
go to Yard sales thrift stores and make it ultra chic on a shoe string budget
