I need the staircase to gain access to my loft and it will be down most of the time which is why it must look nice. But I also need it to be able to fold away as that part of the room will be used as my dining room when I have large dinner parties with many guests. I have tried conventional staircase websites and shops but nobody has heard of this kind of thing. If it doesn't exist then somebody needs to design something like this. It doesn't matter what material it is made in as long as it is attractive and nice!!

We have a loft, and we put spiral stairs leading up to it. It doesnt take up much room, its always down, easily to be moved if necessary, and its cute decorated for Christmas, as its near a window!!
