2 Bedroom Apt - Should I keep the color scheme the same throughout?
Keep in mind the kitchen is next to living room so a contrast would be highly noticeable.
Answers:
I have decorated five houses in 12 years and there is one thing I have learned about bright colors. They are fantastic if you have little of them around you.Paintings, cushions decoration pieces are superb and noticeable in bright colors. But rooms should be bigger if you want to paint them red or orange.i think apple green is good for your kitchen.

Keeping consistency is best for making the apt. appear bigger. But that doesn't mean you couldn't have a theme motif going on. Just don't paint all the walls.

Don't paint anything in 'bold' colors, warm or not. Red is a bold color and definitely a contrast to the greens and blues. Get a color wheel and some samples from where you are going to get your paint and walk through.

I would choose 3 colors that go well together. In each room have one of the colors be the main color and the other two colors act as accent colors. Remember you can also use touches of white and black so you don't need to count them as one of your color choices. The result is a nice flow of colors in the space without every room looking exactly the same.
