Are you color courageous or still a color coward i.e biege/white walls everywhere?

I'm curious as to how daring others are in painting interior walls. What colors work for you? I recently acquired the courage for color.
My kitchen is pastel & grass-green striped with seashell grey cabinets, bedroom buttery yellow and cream.
I plan to do another room in terra cotta.

I am all about color! I bought a condo six months ago, so after doing some of the beginning repairs, I've finally been able to paint! My living room is a camel color, and my office (originally a dining room) is a shade of green that is to die for! I am planning on painting my kitchen red. Haven't decided on the rest of the place yet. But no white walls for me!

I can't stand basic white. Sounds like you're doing fine. The sky's the limit and if it's a light shade and you don't like it, repaint. Oh, always try the new color is an inconspicuous place first and let it dry. Wet and dry are two different colors and it also depends if you're putting a color on top of a different color.

I actually painted my kitchen cupboards black! It turned out beautiful!! My walls are a honey colored. Color is wonderful!
Color me maize yellow, with ocean blue, and spicey red for my grand-kids bath. I loved working with these colors and pulling everything together. I also have touches of orange, green, and bright pink, as the secondary colors. I did a beach theme, and bought regular sand buckets, for the trash can and one for holding towels. I went to the swimming section at Walmart and bought accessories, like googlies, floats, paddle boards, and used these items as decoration, for a lot lower price than any other decorations you buy. I also went into the fishing area, and bought a small pole, fancy fish hooks, etc., and these items were added to pieces I was working with. Anyway, it looks pretty good. The colors make you feel happy and free. The only problem is when people go in, they stay forever, playing around with everything, but that's OK. Your color themes sound really great. Terra Cotta is one of my favorite colors, this season. There is so much you can do with that color. I seen a golden mustard, and Terrie Cotta put together in a kitchen recently and it was gorgeous. They added wrought iron accessories and it came out beautifully.
I did a light bluish grey over a dark bluish grey rag roll in my living room and hall. The 2 adjoining rooms are painted the solid same 2 colors, the lighter in the north room, the darker in the south. And don't let the paint people tell you that you have to buy special paint to rag roll or sponge paint. Two colors of just plain paint (off the same chip--easier to match) work just fine. My wood kitchen cabinets are fire-engine red, with dark granite-look counters (crumbs don't show). Bath is dark peach and grey.
