Where can I buy things at a reasonable price to furnish my small apartment at Koramangala, Bangalore?

I am an MBA. I was hired on campus by a multi national company. I was posted in Bangalore. I started working a month ago. This is my first job.

I have rented a small two bed room apartment near Koramangla. Now I need to furnish my house and buy other household items.

Should I seek the help of an interior decorator who can do the entire job for me? (I have a small budget. Besides, the furniture and other household goods I buy should not cram the place.)

Or, should I buy the things myself? If so, are there any shops near Koramangla where I can buy good quality furniture and other household items at a reasonable price.

Thanks for your suggestions

Why don't you ask your co-workers where they bought their furnishings. The cheapest option may be to buy used items at the marketplaces. Every culture, in every country, seems to have what we in the USA call flea markets, thrift shops, yard sales, etc. All you have to do is find them ... and don't forget to haggle and arrange for delivery of the larger items.

Of course, the choice of what to buy is up to you. Me ... I buy the things I like.

Good luck with your search.
