Price for Wainscoting?

I am looking to decorate a nursery for my babe-in-arms that will be coming into the family soon. I found a crib set that I want and the on the wall and within the picture they have some wainscoting done(http://www.babysupermall.com/main/produc... I am curious to catch an average price for this to buy. The room is 10X12 and we would be installing it ourselves. I am really interrested if we are talking $500 or $2000. Thanks


Answers:    What you're looking for is call beadboard wainscoting. You can buy it already primed at Home Depot. It costs about $45.00 for 8 linear foot.

Word of caveat: If you plan on installing this yourself, make sure you hold the right tools. Precision measuring and a flawless saw are essential.

There are other places on the internet that sell a superior product, but expect to wages a lot more.

Good luck! Go near the cheaper stuff. Chances are really, really good that, no concern how careful you are, your little angel is going to take his/her hands on crayons, pen, markers, makeup to draw on this. Be sure to buy a paint that contains earthenware. It's more expensive, but it is completely scrubbable!
