What can I buy to protect my linoleum floors from one undermined from the kitchen chairs and table?
What can I buy and where on earth do I get it from? Also, are within any other alternatives other than buying a 5x8 rug?
Answers: They're call sliders and you can get them at Home Depot. You can also carry felt strips but I similar to the sliders because they move furniture easier. I had a stand table with a generous footprint so rather than buying a bunch of feel strips or sliders I bought a cheap piece of Plexiglas and used that. I think you can obtain that at HD as well. Since you don't move your table much you could probably lately use a small bathroom rug.
I don't remember what they're called any, but they sell them at home depot. Any of the sale people near could help you find them.
Also, I bought the plastic ones and didn't similar to them (I have hardwood floors). I done up exchanging them for the felt pad version.

Wal-Mart (and other similar stores) supply self-sticking felt discs for that completely purpose.

They are called glides. They hold nylon (or cork) buttons on the bottom that can slide without mark the floor. They fasten to the stool legs in an assortment of ways (screws, spikes, slip-ons, etc) to match those stool legs.
