I want to put a second story on my home?

only thing is, it costs lots...is there a government grant that I could apply for that would help out, I know there used to be one called a RAP grant (I think thats what it was) but I can't find anything like that...

There is a RRAP program, but I'm in Ontario.
This is only a program that helps out low-income households that desperately need renovations such as new windows, new electrical, new porches, sometimes accessible bathrooms. But definitely not additions.
They wouldn't even consider your proposal, even if you are low-income.
