We just installed strange cork flooring in our small kitchen. The cork is a dimness chesnut color. We realized that our dated medium/dark oak cabinet look worse now and it simply too much wood from top to bottom. We would like to paint or reface them, but because we enjoy black appliances and a honey pine ceiling in the great room explicitly right next to the kitchen we don't know what to do. On a positive data the cork is amazing and it works with the pine ceiling. The ceiling contained by the kitchen itself is white, but it is open to the living room/dining room that have the pine ceiling.
Answers: Sure. I don't think I would use white appliance. To much white. What color is your counter top? A nice black granite would look nice. Some silver or black handle would be nice on the cabinets too.
