I dont want to reconstruct, but i definitely want my Bathroom looking different, any tips?
Answers:
Paint, new knobs, new faucets, new light fixture, new shower curtain, new pictures.
Tile is not difficult to do and provides major impact.
To spice up fresh paint, use a texture paint; Faux is difficult and trendy. Paint the cabinet, perhaps using two tones. Don't forget the ceiling - it doesn't have to be white, but it should remain light.
Get some knobs and handles for the cabinet that are fun. see link.
A new faucet can be had for cheap if you keep your eyes open for a deal - I like a swan neck that gives more room between spigot and bowl. A new sink could be fun, too.
Major impact can be had from a new light fixture.
Also consider changing out you flat mirror with a framed type.
And don't forget to carpet your toilet!

Depending on your budget, you can change the wall colors, wall papering, curtains, even think outside the box with the shower! I've purchased picture window sized lace, a shower curtain rod, shower curtain rings and attached the lace curtains to the rod and hung above my shower to "dress" it up a little! Then, bought a length of garland with roses and attached that to the top of the curtain/rod. It really looks terrific and I've received MANY compliments on my creativity!
The choices are nearly infinite.
Paint is the most budget conscious way to begin.
Tile, diff flooring, decorative accents, new bath linens/towels, etc.
Shop within your budget, define your desires, compromise some in cost versus what you want, and enjoy.
I've done many bath remodels, from mild to major. Sometimes a change of color is all you need.

I had the same issue.....I took a blue countertop and tiled over it as well as the bathroom floor. We also scraped the ceiling making it a flat ceiling and a smoother look. Replaced the toilet and added a raised wall-paper on the wall that when paint was applied created a lifted look. Did all of this for about $650 in material cost. Looks like a completely different updated bathroom. Oh yeah, I also bought a new door for the bathroom already hung and found it for $45.
paint, curtains
