How to attach stained cup to massive mirrored walls?

we are putting together a stained glass mural similar to tilework
we are baking the cup pieces in a furnace to make cup tiles
and want to attach the design to large mirrors short spoiling the see through effect of the clearer pieces
there will still be massive expanses of mirror with areas of mural design strewn across the wall
does anyone have experience near adhesives that enjoy endured and also provides the clearness?

Answers:    I would reflect that you would have to etch the cup to have a rough surface so that you could use clear epoxy. That would diffinately hold two etched cup surfaces together.
Large stained glass pieces are vastly heavy. I used to do generous glass. It seem safer if you are doing large stained cup pieces to make individual frames for the cup around 3 x 4 feet. They don't hold to be square. Then, if your design is strong enough, the frames will not be notice. Then you could have steel reinforcement added near the advice of a tecnician so that you could drill through that and the mirror and attach it forever, safely and not own to worry going on for it falling, provided your screws are long and strong ample. A stained glass studio may be capable of help you beside your idea, technically. Yes, I focus you could epoxy individual pieces, but a large composite would be closely heavier and riskier. I never like to risk my chalice ... I loved it too much to lose it. Good luck. I'd love to know how you did it, and see a photo. Sounds like an interesting project. I hope you're not sagging it over your heads over a bed. Jay
