When Installing reseilient floors, is it necessary to remove existing floors/?
Answers:
It depends upon the condition of the existing floor and whether or not the manufacturer requires an underlayment in order to take full advantage of any warranty offered by the manufacturer.
Other answers:
Not if they are in good shape.
Make sure you drive screws to stop any squeaks before you install the new floor. I usually dip the tip of the screws in epoxy to make sure they never move.
