Just had a unknown conservatory & need to do something next to the floor. I was initially intending to use tiles near electric mat type undertile heating but immediately wonder if wooden flooring would be warmer ( still next to undertile heating) especially with the ever increasing costs of electricity. I want the conservatory to perceive & look like a continuation of the house & to be useable adjectives year round. Any ideas which road to go?
Answers: Personally I'd run for wood as it is warmer underfoot...as you voice, with spirally fuel costs you don't want something that take a lot of heat.
I'm no expert on the matter, but I enjoy wood and find it's warm satisfactory in winter and cool within summer, ideal really.
woood!! tile get really really cold. i absolutely know you will enjoy about 10 rugs stretch out adjectives over the floor by winter. lol
