Modualr Homes?
Answers: We own been looking at modular homes and own really been impressed beside Wisconsin Homes. (http://www.wisconsinhomesinc.c... I was within one of their models on a day when near were steady wind at 25 mph and gusts to 40. I was so impressed near the solid construction - very little turn noise and not even the slightest draft around window or electrical outlets. The floors seemed more solid than other modular homes builder's models that I hold been and they propose way more standard option and upgrades than others as well (including white trim and doors which, for me, is a must enjoy!) And as for flexibility - if none of their standard plans suit your needs, you can design your own home at NO extra charge. Your solely limitation is section must be 14', 15', or 16' wide and no longer than 68' (I think). If you live contained by the upper Midwest I would definately check them out! Good luck!
I think they are wonderful. Years ago, they call them prefab houses. They are already built, just put adjectives the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle.
Thomas Edison be probably the first person to erect a prefab home. He have a house built, taken apart, put on a barge, and floated it down a river, and then built on a site that he and his wife owned.
I'm sorry to be no relief to you. I don't know who is best in the open market. It use to be Jim Walter Homes located in Florida.
