Has anyone used a cover blade ceiling supporter?

My husband and I are remodeling our den and are interested in getting a tarp blade ceiling fan hold a few questions for anyone who have one, or had one.

Do they put out clothed air circulation?
Does the sheeting seem sturdy satisfactory to survive daily use?
Would you recommend them to someone?

We are doing a nautical issue and it would look very nice next to some of the other pieces we've already selected.
