Can anyone tell me what the spacing for anchor bolts on an addition is?

I'm doing an addition and not sure how far apart the achor bolts are to be.

Answers:
I'll assume you're talking about the anchor bolts that you want to put into the foundation, onto which the bottom plate will be attached. If that's the case, a good rule of thumb is about every 3 - 4 ft. Just make sure they're large enough to clamp the plate down well and you should be alright.

national building code of Canada is 8 foot centers, but 6 feet is more common.
i assume ur talking about ur foundation anchor bolts, 1 ft. from each corner, 8 ft on center.....but ur local area could call for different arrangement.....here in nc if ur on a slab u have to bring the bolts up thru the top plates with threaded rod from the footer....

In California the code requires 5/8" x 10" anchor bolts at 6' on center, with a bolt within 6" of each end of each board.
