What size glass shade to buy?

My window surrounded by 35 3/4 inches wide. Should I attain a 35 or 36 inch shade for inside mount?

shades are sized according to different methods. If you are going to mount the shade on the inside of the window sash. pin to pin is measured by the ends of the pins that mount within the brackets. Deduct about 1/2 inch so you can find it in the brackets and it will jump up and down without rubbing against the glass frame.
If you are going to mount the shade on the outside of the sash and you want to cover the entire window completely after you want to measure the breadth of the shade material itself. This will be wider because it will hang down much like a curtain.
