Does anyone hold any direction for a "ocean" subject matter for a juvenile girls room?




Answers:    Paint the walls ocean blue and the ceiling lighter blue next to some white clouds, easy to do beside a sponge. Then paint sand colored around the most open wall of her room. You can hang down a net resembling boats use and put some sea shells and sun specs. Maybe a table with an umbrella near bright colors and paint her furniture with white and blue near bright primary color knobs. Paint wooden ones or the ones you own already. Buy a colorful rug that looks like a sand towel and put that under the table or at the foot of the bead. Go to The Rug Company to see what they own. Use beach chairs and perchance a hanging hammock bench if you can get it hung from the rafter or the beam that will hold a kid or two. Fill some colored bottles from the Dollar Tree near sand and put them in the windowpane...use shades or shutters or striped yellow curtains and consent to all the muted in that you can. Maybe droop some posters or pictures of ocean scene. Try DIY to see if they have any subject roos to look at. Good luck.

Teenager? Ask her; most probable she has some philosophy of her own. If she has no accepted wisdom; have her brain storm going on for the things she likes going on for the ocean, shore etc. That may help point you into the right direction. Some folks enunciate I want an Ocean theme...but what they really resembling is traveling...? Sounds like fun.
Miss Mary have some excellent suggestions, but I will add one to it. When sculpture the sand color, actually put sand contained by the paint to give it a sandy texture and touch.
