I want to move a 32" TV and its stand to another location in the same room. How do I do it with no damage?

The floor is wood and I can haul the other furniture into the next room. I prefer working by myself.

Try moving them seperately or place pieces of waxed paper under the legs and scoot the whole thing.

Use furniture gliders. They go under the legs of your furniture and make it really easy to slide furniture across the floor. Go to Lowe's, Home Depot, or any main store like Walmart should have them.
Put some throw rugs or soft towels under the feet of the stand, then pull it across the floor gently. I've moved a lot of furniture this way, you're lucky it's a wood floor. Carpet would be a lot tougher.
Sliding Robots make moving heavy stuff light like a feather! Use these mini devices to move any of your heavy furniture or appliances like bookcases, lrg. T.V.s refrigerators, sofas, and more. Sliding robots are great on carpets and floor tiles too! Each disc is made with thick foam to conform to any type of furniture placed on it. Just slightly lift and tilt furniture, place Sliding robots under each corner of the object, then gently push or pull the item to be moved…$10.95 for 8 piece. You can use any brand ,I just happened to have found these at Home Depot.
Honey, Get Magic Sliders! I move HEAVY furniture all by myself all the time. They are only about 8 bucks at Wal Mart.
