What size clay tiles should I use around a 5'x32" hip bath tub? The bathroom is small - approx 7 1/2'x6 1/2'.
Answers: Just get through with a hip bath, We used 12x12, with a 3 inch border around the out side, also using a design of some sort , indistinguishable thick nest of the tile to jump all the course around
the middle, about partly way up, also around the tub if at hand is sheet rock , take it down , use the crete board which comes contained by different thickness, 1/2 contained by. preferred, on the thin set ,use latex, on the grout use the non sand epoxy, on the tub use 1/8 in spacers. Now to the floor, you do have need of to use the 12inch or bigger tile, also the latex grout, using 1/4 inch spacers, this does not have to own epoxy , use sanded grout for the floor , this will amend the looks of your bath , no thing what the size.
By the way the tub we just completed be 8 ft. x 8 ft.
