How critical is it to verbs up the antiquated tack strip when installing a brand new runner?

My girlfriend says I should disappear the old tack strip in that, but I think it requirements to be pulled up.


Answers:    have be a contractor for years, I will not ever reuse carpet tack, it is as outmoded as the last mat, also most carpet installers will not reuse contained by case some of the tack have rusted, cause other problems, check with your installers
If it is virtuous condition, leave it.
