Replacing windows is an expensive job. Make sure you get high quality windows since the labor is expensive whether you have cheap ones or good ones put in. To give you a rough idea, a neighbor of mine had 10 windows replaced and it was a $6,000 job. Try Somerville Aluminum in Somerville, NJ. They do good work.

I'm having mine done by Sears. They have great new vinyl windows, completely screened, double paned & double locked, very hard to break these & they have a coating that repels bright sun. The size of windows affects price, but mine came out to be about $1,000 each, including removal & disposal of old ones, all installation, clean up AND TAX! Beware of cheap priced ones, because they don't include all these things. Also, you don't pay until all is completed, so you get to inspect. Hey, they're also going to re-install my security system on the windows that are already existing. Not bad. I'm having 5 windows done. I'm in the Seattle, WA area, but I know you have Sears in NJ (my sis lives there). Enjoy!
