What is the best way to remove the manufactured ink stamp from new lumber besides sanding, painting or priming

Need to varnish our new 2 by 4 porch railing soon to enhance its durability to the weather, children and pets. Painting or priming is not an option, too high maintenance. Need the ink gone to varnish it, with 4 children ...no time to sand it all off.

My question,
4 kids, no time to sand, but do have time to varnish, and keep kids away while doing so,,,,plus drying time???

Goo Gone, or Goo Off. Find it at Home Depot or Lowes

Standard stock lengths of 2x4 are 3/4 inch longer than advertised so you can cut the end off (usually where the stamp is) without loosing footage. Too late now that you have installed them. Try acetone.
Try chlorine bleach. Chances are there will be a mark left behind no matter what chemical you use.
Paint stripper is an option, but since it is a liquid I think it will also leave a mark.
try acetone, what it does not remove we hope will drive it deeper into the wood. acetone is what women use to remove finger polish. you buy it at Lowe's or depot and keep lid on tight because it evaporates.
A hand planer if you can get to it, otherwise sand or live with it
