How about one wall a pale violet, and the other 3 an off white such as eggshell or a white with a touch of pink coloring to give a distinct hue?
My bedroom is "Apple White" which is a pale green colour - I like it - it is very nice.
go with a light green to lighten up the room and make it seem brighter.
Pale Peach and a Pale lilac go very nice together.

well what colors do you like? dark colors will make it seem smaller. i suggest keeping the ceiling white. for walls, yellow is supposed to make you tired so if you always want to be tired in your room go with that. green is supposed to be calming-hence the 'green room'. blue is supposed to make you sad. red makes you mad. and yellow and red make you hungry (thats why mcdonals has those colors mcdonalds). but, i personally feel that certain yellows and certain blues (such as sky blue) are very happy colors. a brown or deep red may feel more cozy. but if you like pink paint em pink. make sure you are happy with the color before you do it. i suggest testing out the paint. goodluck!!

if you want to be creative, put a wallpaper border all around the centre of the wall, go the bottom bit a pale peach and the top a lush yellow colour, choose a border which hints these colours.
Violet or indigo is a nice relaxing peaceful colour for the bedroom.
They say blue/violet are the most restful colors, good for inducing a deep sleep. Yellow is apparently the worst color for a bedroom. But I would close my eyes and go through all the colors and imagine them around me. Whichever color makes you feel the most relaxed, go for that!

Cream then you can bring in colour with soft furnishings and bits, least then if u get fed up u only have to change the bits n bobs rather the re decorate!!
