i love the 80's techno house music and all that issue but my bedroom is quite small (about 4 metres long and 3.5 mtres wide) and i enjoy and anitque style bed and desk. is there a approach i can have the two beside out it looking wierd? ps i'm nearly 40 years old and a girl.

Sorry enjoy to ask, what does 80"s techno have to do near an antique bed? Surely someone of your age does not think 1980 equals antique. OK- 14 make more sense. Perhaps you could put the desk over the foot of the bed (like a bedside table used at the hospital) or turn the desk so the back of it faces/is up against the foot of your bed. Lots of relatives have chests at the foot of their bed. You could have a desk at yours.
You could try and label it work from a shabby chic angle. That usually works with antiques. Especially if they're white. You could possibly mix that in somehow.
