I involve a bookshelf that go lying on a huge desk sitting against a wall?

So the bookshelf would be braced by the wall on the side, and the desk under it. I don't want to mount any shelves on the wall, purely a solid, simple, wooden shelf that sits on top of my desk, located within the corner of the room.
