10 year weak boys room makeover...?

Can you tell me some awesome room planning for a 10 year old boys room. My husband and I are thinking around building him a loft bed like the one on the t.v. show Drake and Josh. Any other concept are very much meet and appreciated!! Thanks!

Answers:    At ten, you could really get into spending some money. So you really want to avoid the unharmed "theme" thing and dance at it as a bedroom. With furniture that can be used as he gets elder and be changed up with in recent times bedding and paint.

The loft bedding sounds cool. I immediately thought of the one beside the desk set below, and the bed above. It would be great and he wouldn't outgrow it any time soon. Currently it could be used for homework and his art projects, and later could be used for his computer and such.

A cool paint available job around the room, like a stripe or something would be cool for him. There are a couple of places that own some great bedding options. Of course Pottery Barn Kids/teens comes to mind. As does the Company Store. Love their screening. Both of those places also have corresponding accesories similar to rugs, bulletin boards, cushions, curtains, things like that. Needless to utter the Company store is cheaper. However, if you fall contained by love with something at Pottery Barn, buy the must haves in a minute, then check their clearance department on strip frequently. You can often find the complementary pieces 50 to 75 % off.

Not to be forgotten for cool items contained by his room is Target. They take a bit to hit the trend, but soon satisfactory will have some cool paraphernalia in the colors that you choose.

With a throw rug, and a pad stool in the color of the curtains for the desk, possibly a bean bag for baggy out.
Pick up the Magnet/Erase board at like Sam's to swing on the wall behind the desk. Tape bad the stripe for the paint. And he's got a really cool room that he will love and be capable of stay in for copious years. The organizational items you can pick up from all the above mentioned places adjectives the way to Lillian Vernon, or Lillian Vernon Kids. He'll verbs to grow into it. As he gets elder, wait out the college sale until they have definite down the things that didn't sell to nought, and you are set.

I just know he's going to love have a "big boy" room. And you'll love it not breaking the bank.

Good Luck!!!
There have to be something that he's into. Nascar, football, soccer, outdoors. Go from there beside the decor.
when i was resembling 13-14 i put brick wallpaper up in my room. i thought it be way cool. he might resembling that.

Ten means that he will be a tween really soon, and that method that he will a teenager relatively soon! Whatever you establish on, make it practical adequate to last around 5 years meaning you'll own to consider changes contained by taste when he get a little elder.

Try decorating surrounded by something he aspires to do or loves, like skateboarding or space travel. Keep the sizeable furniture simple and basic, and be in motion crazy with things approaching bed covers and smaller items like lamp, posters, etc. That way, the dresser he take to college won't be sporting plastic knobs and multicolored drawers. :)
Have you asked him what he wishes in his room? You nouns like a fitting parent, but it is his room and he could probably answer your question.
I consider a loft bed would be cool. When I was twelve my parents consent to me decorate my walls next to spray paint. I put some graffiti on my bedroom walls, and yes, I turned out okay and did well surrounded by college and beyond.
