Answers:
if you like pink then it's "in" right now.
Do light green walls, white trim and doors, and if you can pick the flooring do a whitish shaggy type (the kind with speckles of neutral shades of tan, brown, whatever).
For the window do something with light green, light pink and white and use lots of fabric. White blinds are okay to use to keep more light out and have more privacy.
Get all new bedding and do white sheets, big light pink comforter, and accent pillows of light pink, light green and one or two that match the fabric you use for the window.

Get a full body-length mirror to put wherever the most light will reflect off of it and onto you when you look at your reflection. Get a big shaggy rug of light pink or whatever.
Even match your bath towells and rags.

If you like stripes you can have some on your walls. It's really cool looking.
Pick either light pink or light green, or even white, and get a FLAT paint and a HIGH GLOSS paint. Alternate the stripes of the SAME COLOR with flat and high gloss. It's the coolest thing. You can find bedding that matches this look. I can't remember what it's called, though.
If you do that, match your bedding to the wall color, whatever it is, and do the trim a different color and the drapes a different color.

White furniture would be the best for this room.

Good luck and have lotsa fun!

paint one wall your favorite color, then put everything where you want it... just make sure it's NOT in the same place it was in your last room....
The success of any decorating scheme depends on how well it suits all the members of your family. To create a décor that you will be happy with, think about what you want and also what you don’t want.

It’s a good idea to know what you have before you begun to change things. As you begin to pull your design ideas together, think about your preference and what will work in your home.

Color can work wonders... it can change the look of a room and change your feeling about the room. You can start by looking through magazines, and catalogs. Give yourself plenty of time, it will take longer than you think, and your ideas will develop as you go.

Gathering samples is a great way to begin. If you are starting with a color, your samples might include fabric, paint chips, wallpaper, carpet, wood, stone, and tile.

Knowing what you can spend on a project will give you a clearer idea of what you can achieve. If you’ll on a limited budget, mark off those things that will make the most difference, such as a new wall color and a new sofa.

You can set the mood of a room in lots of ways, such as lights, and furnishings. There are no hard or fast rules or must-do sequence for this process.
Moroccan.
I think the jewel colors is hot! Emerald Green, Ruby Red, etc...
Silky satin pillows and throw covers with gold trimming. You can probably find a nice brass chandelier or lamp (like a Jeanie bottle)at a thrift store for cheap something gold to accent the trim on the pillows, you can even paint them if you can't find the right color. Fancy silky curtains. Soft luxurious rugs. Anything with beads to hold back the curtains. You can drape silky material over your headboard or picture frames. Silk is pretty expensive, but they do have material that is a really good match for silk.
