I would like to create a blanket by taking a normal twin sized blanket, sheet or yard goods and use peices of denim for patchs scattered adjectives over the blanket so I have hold spaces to write my sister in law name and stuff similar to that. I also don't have a sewing contraption. How could I do this and want is the better material to use? I be going to buy a fleece blanket, but then I know I wouldn't know how to write on fleece very powerfully. Also I possible wanna make a throw pillow or 2 to game and maybe a pillowcase. Was thinking of buying white pillowcases and sewing on the denim patchs or/and buying plan coloured throw pillows and after sewing denim patchs on them. Does anybody have any thinking for me on how to do this stuff with out a sewing gadget and on what materials that would go honourable with the denim?
Answers: The thought of buying a twin sized blanket and sewing denim patches on is a polite idea; however, denim cotton objects would be easier to work with minus a sewing machine. You could use you could use fuseable interfacing and iron the matter on. You would be able to any write on the material or embroidery and consequently iron the material to the fleece.
