Tile: Ceramic vs. Porcelain?

i like ceramic better because it is stronger. when you buy your tile, look for a duller finish so that your family doesn't ceramic skate. also look for a smoother finish rather than one w/ groves which will make cleaning more difficult. also it's better to have darker grout than lighter. easier to keep clean.

i think both is great but the porcelain is more fragile you drop something even slightly heavy on it and it will crack and then you have to replace a tile. the thing i dont like about either is the grout if they dont put sealer in the grout when you mop your floors those little grains of dirt get in that grout and start building up then your down on your hands and knees scrubbing your floor
